Markim's

I have once eaten here and found their Bicol Express delicious. One night, however, we had Pork Liempo. It was priced at P90.

After about P20 minutes, it arrived. Well, it was delicious but it was fatty - very fatty.

Markim's is not one of my favorite restaurants so I might not come back here in the near future.

Piazza

Everytime I eat here, I always order their meal sets. At around P150, you get salad, pasta, pizza, meat and rice plus drinks. It used to be worth it before but now, it is still worth it but... not really. Their serving size has lessened.

For their appetizers, I chose Tacos instead of Caesar Salad. I like the Tacos of long ago because it was really a taco. And if I could remember right, there were two tacos instead of taco innards sprinkled with crushed taco shells.

For pasta, I opted for Carbonara. The Carbonara was watery. It had less cream in it making it bland.

The Piazza pizza was small this time but the crust is thin but not biscuit thin.

The Chicken Salpicao was delicious! Yum yum yum. It was soft and well-cooked. I also like the rice which was soft and a little wet.

We also had Bacon Baked Potato which was worth it at P68. It was cheesy, steaming hot and had bacon bits.

The meal set is still worth it. I don't see myself returning here soon though... except of course, for the Baked Potato. :)

Iana's

Someone told me that Iana's Philly Cheese Steak is to die for. Well, I tried it once and lived.

It was huge but the bread was tough as stale bread and cold as one's nervous hands (not really). The filling had plenty of pepper instead of meat and the cheese, although it looks cheesy, wasn't that cheesy.

My friend had burger. I couldn't remember if I tasted it. I think I did but I want to come back to try their burgers even if their Philly Cheese Steak was a disappointment.

Pies Surprise

I thought this resto just serve pies but I was surprised that they serve pasta, calzone and rice meals as well.

I ordered a Chicken and Mushroom Calzone and a Beef Lasagna.

The Chicken and Mushroom Calzone was quite huge with plenty of stuffings and not to mention delicious!

The Beef Lasagna was worth it at P70. In fairness, there was plenty of meat. I couldn't appreciate the cheese though.

Yum yum. Writing about it makes my mouth water. I heard their ribs are delicious. I'm definitely coming back.

Parajan

Because I was hungry, I had Fried Chicken and Pork Chop.

The Fried Chicken and the Pork Chop weren't amazing and the rice is small. But these are good eats at around PhP50 each. Hurray for the students.

Barrio Inasal

The last time I ate here was in college and I totally forgot how their chicken tasted so it was of no wonder that I found myself there one weekend ago. I had, of course, their Chicken Inasal, which arrived after 10 minutes.

The Chicken was tender and tasty and good but I don't think it is worth it at P65.

Now, that I have eaten it again, I can now say that the best Chicken Inasal is at Hilltop.

Tonino's

I have never heard of this restaurant had my classmate not invited me to eat there. I had spaghetti while my classmates had spaghetti and burgers. I was tired and all I wanted to do was sleep so I really didn't fill myself up.

The food arrived after a long 35 minutes. X_X

The spaghetti was topped with Parmesan and Basil. It had a lot of meat in it and was, in all fairness, good.

I wouldn't return to try the other items on their menu though. It seems expensive. But the place is nice. Perfect for dates and private get-togethers.

Perri Todd's

Perri Todds burgers have really declined in quality and decreased in size, not to mention that it is now more expensive.

The bread is now thicker than before but more tasty and soft...

while the patty is smaller and thinner and less tasty than when it first started.

Sorry, but now, I think Perri Todds is not worth it.
